What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the operators of the site. Similar technologies — including local storage, web beacons, and pixels — function in related ways and are covered by this policy.
The types of cookies we use
We use a small, conservative set of cookies and storage technologies, organized into the categories below.
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the website to function. These cannot be turned off. | Cookie consent preference (pcg_cookie_consent_v1), Cloudflare Turnstile bot-protection cookies on form pages. |
| Functional | Remember choices you make on the site (e.g., closing the cookie banner). | Browser local storage entries used to remember your consent choice. |
| Analytics | Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Anonymized. | If enabled, traffic-pattern analytics. Loaded only after consent. |
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party tracking for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share personal information.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies on this site are placed by third parties whose services we use:
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot-protection on our form pages. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — when our pages load, fonts are requested from Google's font CDN. Google may receive a request log entry that includes your IP address. We do not embed Google services beyond fonts.
- Google Maps — embedded only on our Contact page. Google may set cookies when the map loads. See Google's policy.
How to manage cookies
You have multiple ways to control cookies:
Our cookie banner
The first time you visit our site, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen offering you a choice between Accept All and Reject Non-Essential. Your choice is remembered for future visits.
Browser settings
Most browsers let you delete cookies, block cookies from specific sites, or block all cookies. See your browser's help documentation:
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — though we do not engage in such practices in the first place.
California consumer cookie rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information our cookies collect about you;
- Request deletion of personal information we have collected;
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information;
- Opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The opt-out is therefore not necessary, but you may still exercise the other rights above by contacting us at office@pasadenaclinicalgroup.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices change or to reflect changes in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision.
