Perinatal mental health care for women across Los Angeles County
About the Practice

Steady, women-centered perinatal mental health care in Pasadena.

Pasadena Clinical Group is an outpatient psychology practice that has been serving women in the Los Angeles metropolitan area for more than a decade. Our perinatal program is purpose-built for the emotional, relational, and identity changes that accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood.

Why this practice exists

Perinatal mental health needs more than a generic therapy room.

Across Los Angeles County, women routinely report being told that what they feel during pregnancy or after childbirth is "normal" — and then left without specific, structured support to manage it. We built our perinatal program to fill that gap. The clinical work here is concentrated on pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting, with clinicians whose training and continuing education are oriented toward maternal mental health.

We are not a wellness studio, a coaching service, or a one-size-fits-all therapy clinic. We are a licensed outpatient psychology practice that takes the perinatal year seriously as a clinical season in its own right.

  • Licensed psychologists and therapists with perinatal training.
  • Group therapy organized specifically around pregnancy and postpartum.
  • Confidential, screened cohorts that meet weekly.
  • Insurance verification handled by our care coordinator.

Our Values

How we think about care

Maternal mental health work is sensitive by nature. The way we structure our practice reflects what we have learned about what actually helps women feel safe, seen, and supported.

Honest About Scope

We do not promise cures, fast fixes, or guarantees. Group and individual therapy are real interventions, and we describe them in real terms — including when a different level of care or a referral is the right next step.

Women-Centered

Our entire program is designed around women's experiences during pregnancy, after childbirth, and in early parenting. The room you walk into is built for that — not a generic outpatient calendar.

Logistics That Respect Your Life

We schedule around feeding windows, infant naps, return-to-work timelines, and partner availability. Our front office is reachable seven days a week so you are not alone with the administrative load.

Who we serve

Women in every chapter of the perinatal journey.

Our perinatal mental health program supports women through trying-to-conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and the first few years of parenting. We work with first-time mothers, women navigating second or later pregnancies, women who have experienced perinatal loss, women with high-risk pregnancies, NICU families, and women returning to work after parental leave.

We see clients from across the Los Angeles County region — Pasadena, South Pasadena, Altadena, Arcadia, Glendale, Burbank, La Cañada Flintridge, Eagle Rock, Highland Park, Silver Lake, Echo Park, the broader Eastside and Westside — and from communities throughout the San Gabriel Valley and the LA metro.
